Norco takes EPA Outreach Award. (Around the Industry).
American Drycleaner, June, 2003
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced it has selected Norco Cleaners to receive its National Environmental Performance Track (NEPT) Outreach Award. The award is presented to member facilities that make an "exceptional effort" to educate others about the benefits of going beyond compliance in their environmental efforts.
Operated by American Drycleaner columnist John Spomar Jr., Norco has demonstrated its dedication "to raising the bar on industry's environmental performance through voluntary, beyond-compliance behavior," NEPT director Daniel J. Forino said in a letter. Visit www.epa.gov/performancetrack for more information on the program.
