Zengeler collects over 1,300 prom dresses.(AROUND THE INDUSTRY)

Northbrook, Ill.-based Zengeler Cleaners recently teamed with the Glass Slipper Project to collect 1,379 dresses, 166 pairs of shoes and hundreds of accessories from area students and customers in a charity effort to provide formal dresses to students who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend prom.
Donations were distributed at Glass Slipper "boutiques" in April and May, with more than 600 volunteers helping students choose the perfect dresses and accessories. In the last nine years, the Glass Slipper Project has helped nearly 10,000 young women enjoy their proms; Zengeler has partnered with Glass Slipper since 2003.
