The GIG-Array[TM] Connector from FCI Electronics now meets Telcordia GR-1217-CORE specification, making it suitable for telecom/datacom applications. The connector features process friendly Ball Grid Array (BGA) attachment with board-to-board spacing of 15 mm to 35 mm (5 mm increments), which offers design flexibility. The impedance matched GIG-Array connector provides 10 Gb/s differential pair performance at less than 2 percent cross talk. It features 158 signal contacts per linear inch.
