Stocko Corp. recently introduced a RAST termination connector for appliance and white goods applications. The insulation displacement contact (IDC) connector was designed specifically for convenient and easy application. Designated the RAST 2.5, the connector uses a 2.5 mm spacing that enables quick connections for low power applications. The IDC connector is rated for up to 4 A, 32 V for wire sizes 22 AWG to 24 AWG. It is available in 3-20 pole positions according to application. The housing material is rated to UL 94V-0 flammability standards. The contacts offer clean IDC connections that slice through a conductor's insulating materials for direct contact with the conductor.
