Apollo Display Technologies has introduced a VGA resolution 6.4" color TFT display featuring 300 nit brightness plus an integrated touch-screen that eliminates the pixel haze created by standard touchscreens used on high pixel density diaplays. This four-wire technology, called "Clear-Clear" touch, uses both highly transmissive (85 percent) and optically smooth ITO substrates for clarity. The 6.4" diagonal display features VGA (640 X 480) resolution with a pixel pitch of 0.675 mm X 0.203 mm. With this pixel density, the surface morphology of standard touchscreens optically interferes with the light transmitted through the pixel, creating a visible haze to the user.
