Digital image processors. (Aisle by Aisle).

ECN-Electronic Component News, March, 2003

National Semiconductor's real-time digital image processors deliver fast action shots for cameras and other imaging products. Based on a new architecture, these image processors solve the problems of inadequate real-time image processing performance, slow click-to-click time and poor quality streaming video. The LM97Ox family of imaging processors has a hardwired, configurable pipeline that assumes the workload from the embedded CR16 and ARM7 processor.
