Momentum Computer has released its 6U CompactPCI[R] Civet-C Single Board Computer based on IBM's[R] 440GP PowerPC processor. Operating at 466 MHz, the 440GP is a super-scalar processor with large caches, a 128-bit CoreConnect bus and high performance peripherals including a PCI-X bridge and a DDR SDRAM controller. Occupying a single cPCI slot, the Civet-C auto-senses whether to operate as a system or non-system slot board. It includes 256 MB of soldered, double data rate (DDR) DRAM, 16 MB of user flash memory and a 32 KB L1 instructional cache as well as a 32 KB data cache.
