The Silver Telecom Ag1170 Ringing Subscriber Line Interface Circuit (SLIC) can operate with either a 5V or a low 3.3V power supply. It is available in a 14-pin single in-line or 21-pin dual in-line format and features an integral DC/DC converter and ringing generation from a single power supply. The SLIC works with loop lengths of up to two miles and can be used in both public and private network applications. The system interface also allows for connection to all popular codes for both audio and signaling connections. Applications include low line and high line count, short loop such as ISDN terminal adapters, Internet telephony, computer telephony integration, wireless local loops and small homes/offices.
