GUI reduces test setup time.(Software)

A graphical user interface (GUI) from Agilent Technologies Inc. has been announced for the company's E2960A serial protocol tester XC for PCI Express technology. The GUI is designed to increase the ease of use of the tester and reduce the setup time of PCI Express transactions to test designs. It is suitable for using the exerciser with the protocol analyzer for debugging and bringing up designs. It allows users to quickly and easily set up packets, including packets with errors, and it can be used together with the protocol analyzer GUI to troubleshoot problems and perform root-cause analysis.
