Tektronix has announced the availability of the TDSHT3, an oscilloscope software package that provides automated compliance testing for High-Definition Multimedia Interface[TM] (HDMI[TM]) products. This software is said to be the industry's first package to enable engineers to efficiently perform reliable in-house compliance tests in accordance with the HDMI Compliance Test Specifications (CTS). The high level of automation and less manual set-ups ensures repeatable results, according to the company. Accurate eye rendering and precise violation testing ensures reliable eye diagram tests. Sophisticated measurement techniques eliminate errors in jitter measurements. Additional efficiency is achieved with further automation of the signal sources that reduces test times...
