ECN-Electronic Component News, February, 2005
Emerson Network Power has introduced its LPQ173 switching power supply from Astec Power. With active power factor correction to minimize input harmonic distortion, the switcher accepts 85V to 264V AC, 120V to 370V DC input, and it is appropriate for 1U (1.75") rack installations or other low-profile applications. It provides up to 175W of output power with 30 cfm forced air or 110W with convection cooling. It measures 1.5" high, with a footprint of 4.25" X 8.5". It includes a built-in Class B EMI filter, remote sense and single-wire parallel on the two primary outputs that enable current sharing to balance loads. Emerson Network Power
