Intersil announces four-channel, current feedback amplifier.(Integrated Circuits & Semiconductors)

ECN-Electronic Component News, May, 2005

Intersil has announced the EL5462, said to be the only ultra-wide-band, low-power, four-channel current feedback amplifier featuring a high slew rate of 5000 V/[micro]s and 500 MHz of gain bandwidth on all four channels. With a supply current of 1.5 mA and the ability to operate off a split [ or -]5V or single 5V to 10V supplies, the device is suitable for space-constrained applications where driving multiple signals in parallel with minimal distortion is required. It has the ability to drive heavy loads and to replicate even square waves because of its high slew rate. The EL5462 has an improved output stage that provides 100 mA output drive on less than 1.5 mA power consumption. Available in a 14-pin SO package, the device operates over the industrial temperature...
