3M Touch Systems has announced the availability of its Dispersive Signal Technology (DST) touch screen technology. US-based Richardson Electronics' Pixelink Division will offer an integrated NEC MultiSyncLCD 4010 40-inch TFT touch screen monitor incorporating the 3M MicroTouch[TM] DST Touch Screen and Controller. The 40" MicroTouch[TM] DST touch screen is the initial release in a planned product range of large format (over 30") touch screens. Key application segments for this technology include conference rooms, education, financial exchange, retail signage and billboard, transportation, and restaurants. 3M Touch Systems
