Silicon Image's SiI 9033 is said to be the industry's first High Definition Multimedia Interface[TM] (HDMI) receiver to add Super Audio CD (SACD) capability in support of the HDMI v1.2 specification to enable consumer electronics manufacturers to build systems that support all high-end audio. This dual-input receiver is back-wards compatible with the earlier generation SiI 9031 but adds SACD support on top of DVD-Audio. High-quality digital audio up to eight-channel, 192 kHz can be output on its four [I.sup.2]S outputs. High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection[TM] (HDCP) Repeater functionality is integrated into the device as well as embedded HDCP keys. Silicon Image
