10 GHz socket for TI 0.4 mm pitch 14 mm QFP body IC.(PACKAGING & INTERCONNECTS)

Ironwood Electronics has announced a high performance socket, the SG-QFE-7000 allows 0.4 mm pitch, 14 mm body, power pad QFP IC's to be used in socket and operate without compromising performance in very high bandwidth applications. The socket connects all 28 pins and the center power pad with 10 GHz bandwidth on all connections. It is constructed with a high performance and low inductance elastomer. The temperature range is -35[degrees]C to 85[degrees]C. The pin inductance is 10.15 nH. Capacitance to ground is 0.10 pF. The socket accommodates IC packages such as the Texas Instruments Power Pad PQFP, 0.4 mm pitch.
