XP Power has announced a medically approved, compact 120W power supply for medical and other portable applications where high isolation and low leakage current specifications are required. The AMM120 is offered with both Class I (with ground) and Class II (no ground) AC inputs. Qualification of the AMM120 means that users are not required to further test or qualify the power portion of their systems. The power supply measures 6.3" X 3" X 1.72" (160 mm X 76.2 mm X 43.7 mm), and it has a power density of 3.69 W/cubic inch. It has a universal AC input and delivers a single output of 12V DC, 15V DC, 18V DC, 19V DC, 20V DC, 24V DC, 30V DC, 36V DC or 48V DC at 85 percent typical efficiency under full load.
