STMicroelectronics' STR750 Motor Control Starter Kit (STR750-MCKIT) is suited for vector-control applications using both permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) and three-phase AC induction motors in appliance, industrial and HVAC applications.
The kit includes the necessary firmware and hardware, including a 24V DC permanent magnet motor for initial evaluation through to development of the target application.
The STR750-MCKIT is based on the company's 32-bit STR750 MCU with ARM7TDMI CPU core, whose embedded peripheral set includes a PWM timer with three-phase motor control features, synchronized with a high-speed ADC for complex vector mode projects, and fully documented C firmware libraries.
