> The DTE Energy Foundation received the TEC Champion Leadership Award at the 2004 NASA SEMAA directors meeting in Washington, D.C., for its work in providing opportunities for K-12 students in Detroit to learn about science, engineering, mathematics and aerospace engineering. Since July 2002, the Foundation has been the backbone and a significant financial supporter of Wayne State University's Detroit Science, Engineering, Mathematics and Aerospace Academy (SEMAA).
