Dr. Morris Goodman, distinguished professor of anatomy and cell biology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine, was elected to the National Academy of Sciences. Election to membership in the Academy is considered one of the highest honors that can be accorded a U.S. scientist or engineer, and Goodman is the first professor in WSU's history to be so recognized.
