Burbank, Calif.-- The Baby Einstein Co. is expanding into the world of infant and toddler apparel in a partnership with Heyman Corp., which will produce the line. The layette collection will include girls, boys and gender-neutral lines, with accessories such as receiving blankets, bibs, cap and bootie sets, hooded towels, and hat and mitten sets also available.
The clothing incorporates a blend of textures, characters and features designed to bring an extra layer of fun to everyday clothes, the company said. Features include finger puppets tucked into sweater pockets, a jingling hat and baby-safe mirrors on booties.
