CATEGORY. Investment-grade corporate bond funds are classified as ST Corp (short-term), Int Corp (intermediate-term) or LT Corp (long-term). Government bond funds are ST Govt, Int Govt or LT Govt. Short-term means that the average time until maturity is less than three years, intermediate means three to ten years, and long-term means more than ten years.
