He was previously managing director of ANZ's consumer finance business, where he was responsible for credit cards, merchant acquiring and personal loans. Prior to this, he was managing director of ANZ's cards and e-payments business.
Before joining ANZ, Mr Hartzer was vice-president and head of the San Francisco office of First Manhattan Consulting Group.
Peter Hodgson Group Managing Director, Institutional, ANZ Banking Group
In this role, Peter oversees all businesses that deal with ANZ's large business, corporate and institutional customers.

Prior to this role, Peter was ANZ's Chief Risk Officer for three years. In this role, he was responsible for ANZ's risk management framework, overseeing its global strategies, policies and processes across credit, market, operational risk and compliance. He chairs the Bank's Credit Risk Committee and was appointed as Chief Risk Officer in December 2004.
Peter has over 25 years experience in banking across a number of the more complex financial product areas both in Australia and overseas. He was previously Managing Director, Corporate and Structured Financing and was based in Melbourne.
Before joining ANZ in 1997, Peter was responsible for the BZW Infrastructure group which carried out advisory and financing assignments in the Telecoms and Infrastructure field, in the UK and overseas. Prior to this, Peter was Head of the Project and Export Finance Group at Bank of America with responsibility for Europe and Asia.
John Hooper Chief Executive Officer, nabCapital
Prior to his appointment as chief executive officer of nabCapital (formerly Institutional Markets & Services), John Hooper had been acting executive general manager since March 2004.
He has been with National Australia Bank since 1996, most recently holding the position of general manager, specialised finance.
Prior to this appointment in July 2002, Mr Hooper was responsible for corporate finance Europe and was one of the founding members of the European structured finance team in 1996.
He joined National Australia Bank from Henry Ansbacher & Co Limited, where he worked for two years on acquisition and structured asset finance transactions. Before this he spent over nine years with Kleinwort Benson.
Rob Hunt Group Managing Director, Bendigo Bank
An employee of Bendigo Bank since 1973, Rob Hunt was appointed chief executive officer in 1988. He was appointed to the Board in 1990.
Mr Hunt is also a councillor of the Australian Bankers' Association, a member of the Business Council of Australia, a member of the Prime Minister's Community Business Partnership, and a Member of the Victorian Government Innovation Economy Advisory Board.
Bernadette Inglis Group Executive Strategy, People and Corporate Services, Suncorp Metway
Bernadette Inglis was appointed to this position following the Suncorp Promina merger earlier in 2007. She has over 20 years experience in the financial services sector and leads the merged group's strategy, people and corporate services portfolio, which includes human resources, marketing and procurement functions.
