Industry rolls out new propane regulatory compliance program.(Propane Education and Research Council)(Brief Article)

The Propane Education & Research Council has released its Propane Regulatory Compliance Program, which offers a compilation of all federal compliance regulations from DOT, OSHA and the EPA that govern propane marketers.

The program has two key components. The first is a guidebook, developed by the National Propane Gas Association, that takes all of the information set forth by three federal regulatory agencies - the Occupational Safety & Health Administration, Department of Transportation, and Environmental Protection Agency - and puts it into simple, concrete explanations of what's required for regulatory compliance. There also is a curriculum handbook developed by J.J. Keller & Associates.
