Superior Propane adds wholesale marketing firm.(Foster Energy Corp)(Brief Article)

Superior Propane, a division of Superior Plus Inc., has purchased the business of Foster Energy Corp. Both firms are based in Calgary.

Foster provides natural gas liquids wholesale marketing services, including transportation, storage, risk management, supply and logistics. It serves more than 40 suppliers who work with small- and medium-sized propane retailers in the United States and Canada. As an independent division of Superior Propane, Foster will assume the new name of Superior Gas Liquids and retain its employees.

David R. Eastin, president of Superior Propane, said the acquisition will boost its supply and logistics, and provide a platform for additional wholesale acquisitions in the U.S.
