MOST doctors have accumulated some assets, even if limited to the equity in their medical practice. Unfortunately, many doctors have also experienced a marriage breakdown that put a strain on these assets.

If you are contemplating a second marriage, you may want to protect yourself, your assets and your children in case this one fails too. Or you may plan to marry for the first time and have already accumulated assets you want to protect.
