TO coin a popular phrase, there's no 'I' in team - and this is certainly the case when it comes to rural health care.

For example, while there are several Federal Government initiatives to support rural GP proceduralists, the state governments make the decisions on whether small rural hospitals - the lifeblood of rural procedural practice - are kept open, closed or downgraded.
