MOBILE PHONES OFF THE HOOK AT LAST
Excessive mobile phone use might erode social skills but yet another study has shown no support for the theory it causes brain cancer. A comparison of about 750 German patients with glioma or meningioma and matched controls found no association with mobile phone use, even for long-term users (more than 10 years). Cordless short-range phones, used in many households, also seemed safe (American Journal of Epidemiology 2006; 163:512-20).
