REGIONAL training providers will have to bid for new contracts with General Practice Education and Training in a competitive tender process that could lead to RTP mergers or boundary changes.

With current contracts expiring at the end of next year, GPET will request tenders for the provision of general practice training for three years from 2007 to 2009.
