AUSTRALIAN Doctor and its lifestyle supplement Focus were each awarded a prestigious National Press Club of Australia Journalism Award at a ceremony held in Canberra last week.

The annual awards, which recognise excellence in health journalism, this year received a record number of entries.

In an impressive field that included the Australian , the Sydney Morning Herald and the ABC, Australian Doctor and Focus took out two of the five categories.
