GOVT FOCUS TURNS TO HEALTH CARE

CHINA Almost half of Chinese people don't bother or can't afford to see a doctor when they fall ill, according to a 2006 survey reported in the People's Daily Online . The survey also found that 30% could not afford to be admitted to hospital on medical advice.
