Excitement is the name of the game on a learn-to-surf course.

THERE'S something about surfing that oozes cool. Whether it's the way surfers cut through waves, or brashly face an abrupt dismount into the swell, there's no doubt the surfer is the coolest person on the beach. The bronze tan and golden locks only fuel the image. So it's not surprising people are lining up to don a wetsuit, pick up a board and plunge in.
