A NEW breed of GPs trained through the AustralianCollegeof Rural and Remote Medicine fellowship will be able to access a new pathway to the vocational register from April, after the Australian Medical Council gave "initial" approval to ACRRM's training and education programs.
The move marks the end of the RACGP's monopoly over the endpoint to general practice training.
