THE battle for market share between the makers of generic and brand-name perindopril has landed in court, with a dispute over a promotional campaign for Coversyl (perindopril arginine).

GenRx - which manufactures a generic perindopril product - has launched legal action against pharmaceutical firm Servier, alleging it has breached the Trade Practices Act in the course of advertising and promoting Coversyl.
