EDITOR I was amused to read in the article 'National database urged to track IMGs' (30 March) that said we international medical graduates are invisible to the health authorities in Australia.

Every year we apply and reapply for area-of-need certificates, for registration with the state medical boards and for provider numbers. We are in Australia under a special medical practitioner visa.
