College welcomes skin cancer GPs.

THE RACGP has laid out the welcome mat for GPs who specialise in skin cancer, reminding them that pursuing a special interest does not exclude them from membership of the GP college.

"I know that some of you will have felt that pursuing a specific interest in skin cancer has put you outside our college," RACGP president Dr Vasantha Preetham told the annual Skin Cancer Conference on the Gold Coast late last month. "This is not the case."
