JAMA Even minor ECG abnormalities can predict future risk of cardiovascular events and death in asymptomatic postmenopausal women, a study suggests.

US researchers said data were sparse on the prognostic value of baseline ECG abnormalities in this group, with previous studies focusing on men or comparing men and women without selecting for age or health status.
