A change in attitude by insurance companies would win them doctors' co-operation, says Emeritus Professor Max Kamien.

IN the past seven years I have filed more than 30 reports to a life insurance company about a patient with a chronic debilitating disorder. Two hours before shutting up shop for the Christmas break I received a Scroogian communication from that company asking for yet another "detailed" report on that patient.
