BMW has just made its popular performance-oriented compact X3 Sports Activity Vehicle a little harder to resist, with a mid-life spruce-up inside and out, a choice of powerful new engines and a new six-speed Steptronic automatic transmission.
Engine choices are a 160kW 2.5-litre six (with standard manual gearbox), 200kW 3.0-litre six with automatic and 160kW 3.0-litre turbo-diesel with automatic.
