MORE Australian men with early localised prostate cancer will be eligible for subsidised brachytherapy from July.

The Federal Government has decided to fund treatment in men with more aggressive cancer than currently indicated after a submission from the Australian and New Zealand Association of Urological Surgeons, Australasian Brachy-therapy Group and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists calling for the change.
