THE proposed merger of MDAV and United Medical Protection will offer greater financial security and stable or lower premiums, according to two independent expert reports.

Details of the proposed merger emerged last week, with members of both medical defence organisations sent a 100-page tome about the proposed new MDO, to be called Avant. Members are due to vote on the proposal on 30 April.
