THE former directors of one of Australia's largest divisions of general practice face possible legal action for allegedly trading while insolvent before the organisation's collapse earlier this year.

The threat follows the publication of the long-awaited liquidator's report into the demise of Western Sydney Division of General Practice, which was put into administration in March after the Federal Health Department withdrew its funding.
