HAPPY patients top the Christmas wish list of many GPs this year -- ahead of pleas for higher rebates and locum relief.
According to the results of Australian Doctor 's web survey, two out of five doctors would like happy patients compared with one-third who want a rebate boost from Father Christmas and 12% who wished for a locum so they could take a holiday.
The survey of 92 doctors also revealed the GP workforce is set to grow over the Christmas period, but unfortunately just by kilos, not actual doctors.
