Psoriasis can take many forms in children, writes Dr Maureen Rogers.
THE presentations of psoriasis in children are more varied than in adults. The condition may present in the typical adult form of large erythematous plaques, with a thick silvery-white scale, predominantly on the knees, elbows, buttocks and scalp, but in children the plaques are usually smaller with a finer scale.
