THE ADGP has been renamed as part of a campaign to boost its public image -- a move the group's CEO says could lead to the organisation becoming the "best possible advocacy group in the country".

ADGP members voted in favour of a name change to the Australian General Practice Network (AGPN) at its annual forum last week, where the launch of the body's new communication strategy also took place.
