SPORT it is said, is the great leveller. But it can be pretty divisive too. I have just attended my first major sporting event since arriving in Ireland--Ireland versus Australia in the International Rules football competition. Sure, it was a bit feisty at times, but it all ended well with the Aussies giving the Irish a bit of a football lesson.
