A CORONER inquiring into the death of a woman who had a heart attack half an hour after leaving a medical centre has criticised the GP's care and referred the case to the NSWHealth Care Complaints Commission.

The inquest was told Ms Rita Kouloubis attended Liverpool Medical Centre in March last year on her way to work because she was experiencing chest pain.

She had previously been hospitalised for five days for acute MI and was taking daily aspirin.
