Teklogix Integrates Wireless Data Collection With Hasbro's SAP R/3.(Brief Article)

To eliminate inefficiencies and improve materials flow into their receiving area, Milton Bradley/Hasbro (East Long Meadow, MA) uses Teklogix TekRF Integration Components for R/3 to interface with their SAP R/3 solution. Utilizing a wireless backbone and mobile handheld and vehicle-mount terminals from Teklogix, the system provides real time feedback and eliminates the inaccuracies of manual data collection.
"We handle more than 2000 transactions a day. Originally, we had to manually input all data," explains Dan Lacharite, manager of receiving of Hasbro. "It was labor intensive and human error was a problem.
