Mortenson Promotes Two.

Staff M. A. Mortenson recently announced two promotions within its Minneapolis Operating Group. Kenneth L. Sorensen has assumed the position of Vice President and General Manager, and Kendall Griffith has been promoted to Director of Operations. Both are Iowa State University (ISU) graduates.
Sorensen, who has been with the company since 1985, will be responsible for executive leadership of the group, which has had revenues of nearly $200 million in each of the past three years, primarily in Iowa, Minnesota and surrounding states. He graduated from ISU with a B.S. in Construction Engineering and earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.
