Beyer Crushed Rock, a subsidiary of J.M. Fahey Construction Co., has not had a lost-time accident since it started its aggregate production operation in 1989 on State Route Y about 2-1/2 miles east of Cleveland. In 2005, the company was honored by the Missouri Limestone Producers Association as best in its category (35,000 to 100,000 man hours) and won the Hillenkamp-Rush Meritorious Safety Award for having the best overall safety...
