GOTHENBURG, Sweden -Walking through Volvo's Torslanda plant here you see the occasional XC90 sport-utility among the S80s, V70s and V70 Cross Country models being produced on one line.
Full production of the XC90 won't begin until the fourth quarter of next year, but Volvo's flexible lines allow it to run early pilot builds at minimal investment.
